I was reading on the Bungie.net forums recently and I came across a new machinima. It was a genre of videogame films that I have never seen before. This creepy, thrilling, Halo 3 Film by Crossfire features a character who is going through psychological paranoia, trying to tame the inner demons inside of him. The video was conveniently released 5 days ago (which was 1/17, A.K.A. Master Chief day). The editing is superb and the music gives Halo 3 a feeling like no other. Ladies and gentlemen, I invite you to see the stunning Halo Machinima, Johnathan Quail.

Yay Jason’s first post! It’s strange watching a Halo machinima that isn’t humourous (RvB, B&S)

Ehh, editing is fine. But the text talk? I feel like watching those zelda games where none of them talk. And for some reason i can’t picture halo being dark and gloomy.

They didn’t talk on purpose. The creator said that they didn’t want any dialogue in the machinima, and to display the mood with music.

Well, until Halo 3 comes PC’s way, they can’t really reskin/mod too effectively, so, given their constraints, I’d say its pretty effective.
Nice Zelda allusion, btw.
